Palestinians return lost Israeli soldier, unharmed

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Feb 2: A combat soldier of the Israeli Defence Force from the Judea and Samaria Division lost contact with his fellow soldiers during operational activity in the village of Budrus near Ramallah on Wednesday.

Local residents started hurling stones at the vehicles carrying the Armored Corps forces, who entered the village for routine activity.

For a reason yet unknown some of the troops stepped out of their jeeps and one lost contact with his battalion without anyone noticing.

The soldier was not hurt and Palestinian residents escorted him out of the village where he rejoined his friends. He returned to his base unharmed.

The IDF Spokesperson's Unit confirmed the report and noted that the IDF is investigating the incident.
